Format

The JDRF Golf Classic is a shamble – a variation of a scramble. All players tee off and select the best drive. Players then continue play from that position.

Arriving at the Club

Upon entering the property proceed past the Clubhouse. The golf valet and bag drop are located to the left of the Clubhouse. Here, the golf valet will take care of your clubs and direct you to the locker rooms where you should change your shoes. Golfers are not permitted to change attire in the parking lot.

Attire

Please visit Fiddler’s Elbow’s website for the complete dress code. Below is a summary:

Men must wear slacks or Bermuda length shorts that are no shorter than 3-inches above the top of the knee. Women must wear slacks, capris, golf shorts, skirts, skorts, or dresses.  All attire should be no shorter than 3-inches above the top of the knee.

For Men, shirts with sleeves and collars are required. For Women, shirts with sleeves and collars are preferred; however, women may wear a round neck collarless shirt with sleeves or a shirt with a collar and no sleeves.

Only spikeless shoes are permitted on the golf courses and practice facilities. Spikeless shoes include Softspikes, golf shoes with rubber treads, and sneakers.

Caps must be worn with the bill forward, at all times. Hats and visors must be removed in the Clubhouse.

Tournament Information

The tournament will be held on two of Fiddler’s Elbow’s pristine courses, the Meadow Course and River Course and will be a shamble format – all players tee off and select the best drive; all players then continue play from that position.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive gift certificates to the Pro Shop at Fiddler’s Elbow.

On Course Contests

Mulligans can be purchased during Check-In only.  Course Contests include Closest to the Pin, Straightest Drive, Beat the Pro, Hit the Green, and Hole-In-One.

Refreshments

A full barbecue lunch will be served on the patio prior to play.  On-course refreshments are available at the Halfway House and from circulating carts.  Our evening program will feature a cocktail reception with stations and passed hors d’oeuvres.

Forms of Payment Accepted

JDRF accepts all major credit cards, cash and check. Sponsorship and admission should be paid via the website or check/credit card prior to the tournament unless otherwise arranged with the JDRF office.

Volunteering
